The Real Risk: Backfeeding

Other Things That Go Wrong With DIY Installs

Wrong wire gauge for the distance. Run the wire too far without upsizing the gauge and you get voltage drop, which can damage sensitive electronics and generator components.

When DIY Might Make Sense
